Columnist Anthony Horowitz of the UK’s Daily Telegraph described Sydney as “the most beautiful, exciting city in the world.”
Sydney is a city where residents, tourists, business visitors and international students alike enjoy clean air, a sparkling harbour, dozens of beaches and plenty of natural bushland.
With world-class vineyards and restaurants for foodies, a diverse arts scene, intellectual communities in every discipline, top sports facilities and a history that inspires a “get it done” resilience, Sydney is a unique place to live while studying at university or college.
Studio 8 Residences was created with this lifestyle in mind. The central location and the thoughtful facilities combine to make Studio 8 Residences the perfect base for international students.
Take a look at why …

Inclusions: Living your best life in Sydney while studying
While studying in Sydney, make sure you take time to enjoy the lifestyle! What’s it like to live in Sydney?
We asked some of the locals to share an insider’s point of view …
“As someone from a migrant background, just how normalised it is in Sydney for different people to have different backgrounds and cultures, at workplaces or socially, is amazing.
If someone in a group doesn’t eat beef, doesn’t drink alcohol, or follows some traditional customs, people don’t really make a big deal of it – and in turn, we don’t mind if people don’t know things some would call ‘common sense’ because they may have grown up with different culture and media and all that.
Also, the sheer diversity of people means that even if you’re of a minority background you don’t particularly stand out, which really is comfortable.”
“Sydney has lots of good food everywhere and I can easily get to several neighbourhoods with a diverse range of cuisine, from Chinatown to Cabramatta to Liverpool etc.
Within a few hours we have access to several amazing beaches up and down the coast, plus the mountains out west, the Hawkesbury region, southern highlands, Hunter Valley. There’s so many great places to visit for a weekend away that for people from many other places in the world would be once-in-a-lifetime trips.
I also love that Sydney (and Australia overall) is very multicultural. Nearly everyone that I know is either a migrant or the child of migrants.”
Room tours: Your perfect space for study and socialising
